Joined Dr. Adrian Halme's Lab in the summer of 2021 as a full-time research assistant, where I investigated the regenerative capabilities of Drosophila wings. Continued to explore this topic in the Halme lab into the second year of college. In the fall of 2022, joined Dr. Michael Brown's lab to delve into oncology research, specifically focusing on non-small cell lung cancer, which later became the subject of Human Biology capstone project.

Began training in March of 2022, which included over 100 hours of instruction in medical and anatomical terminology within both classroom and clinical settings. Primary responsibilities as ED scribe involve creating comprehensive medical records for each patient using EPIC. In January of 2023, earned a promotion to Trainer Scribe, focusing on onboarding and mentoring 15 new scribes during each hiring cycle. Additionally, starting this past July, concurrently assumed the role of Pit in Triage Scribe, demonstrating effective collaboration with attending physicians.
