• Directed the development and management of large-scale funding proposals, working with seven national offices and headquarters to secure and allocate funding effectively for child and community development projects across hundreds of local implementing affiliate partners in Asia.• Instituted standardized procedures for project proposal submission, documentation, and reporting, significantly boosting transparency and accountability, and facilitating the strategic rebalancing of funds between national offices throughout the fiscal year.• Served as an advocate for Asia to the global headquarters team while also representing the priorities of global leadership to national offices in the region.• Conducted on-site training and capacity building for local staff and partners, ensuring effective representation of local needs in project proposals and strengthening the overall proposal development process.

• Collaborated closely with the Regional Director and International Program team to support national offices across Africa and Asia with comprehensive planning, training, monitoring/evaluation, and budget management assistance.• Wrote and directed two cycles of a multi-million-dollar USAID International Food Relief Partnership (IFRP) grant for children’s feeding and nutrition programs in remote areas of the Philippines, providing on-ground support and ensuring compliance with federal regulations and reporting requirements.• Spent roughly 200+ days a year in the field, including full-time residence in the Philippines during the USAID grant period, with regular travel to East Africa to provide continued program oversight and partnership development.

• Supported the Women’s Empowerment Director as a member of the International Program team, contributing to planning, budgeting, training, monitoring/evaluation, and fundraising efforts for the Women’s Empowerment program across all program countries.• Developed and adapted a microenterprise curriculum - combining multiple educational resources into acomprehensive program for training women to start and operate small businesses, including the provision of in-kind start-up seed capital.• Led the successful pilot of the “Micro+” microenterprise program in the Philippines and supported its implementation in Tanzania, empowering women to generate sustainable income, improve their families’ food security, and meet other basic needs.
