ReGrained better aligns the food we eat with the planet we love. We are an ingredient platform created to promote an innovative model of food production that we coined as “Edible Upcycling.” Powered by patented machine technology, we reimagine perceived ends as new beginnings by finding nutritious food streams that are currently being treated as inedible and turn them into delicious and healthy food. We rescue these overlooked but awesome ingredients and put them back to work. Our goal: To improve the way we value food and the resources that support all lifeOur initial focus: Upcycling the nutritious grain created every time that beer is brewed. In the U.S. alone, billions of pounds of this latent supply chain are available every year. Brewing beer processes the sugar out of the grain. This gives us optimal access to protein, fiber, and micronutrients. We upcycle this grain into ReGrained flour, and incorporate this sustainable, delicious, and nutritious ingredient into every ReGrained product and sell it to customers and partners for their own innovative product offerings. As part of Local Mission Eatery, Local Cellar, and Local Mission Market, I create value through attention to detail and versatility. Managing bookkeeping, facilitating catering orders, and executing general administrative and operational tasks are just a few of the hats I get to wear. As part of the Sales Development Team, I worked closely with Regional Enterprise Account Managers to develop interest and work with clients to provide a solution that ensures compliance, security, eDiscovery, and brand protection around real-time social communications in at large organizations.
