Jordan is a proud Calgarian who passionately studied Civil Engineering with a Minor in Structural Engineering at the University of Calgary, graduating with Distinction. He is a driven individual committed to implementing creative, informed, and sustainable solutions to problems.Jordan received his early education in Alberta where he was enrolled in an Arts-Centred Learning (ACL) program, later changing into an Advanced Placement (AP) curriculum, allowing for both creative and technical perspectives to materialize.He began his professional career at Pembina Pipeline Corporation as an Engineering Summer Student in the Project Governance department. His primary responsibilities were to investigate/implement methods that identify/mitigate project risk by advancing continuous improvement strategies through engineering lessons learned. Jordan then joined TC Energy as a Pipeline Design Engineer Co-op Intern on the Trenchless and Mechanical/Pipeline Design teams within the Pipeline Engineering group. His responsibilities encompassed many design-oriented initiatives/projects with work overseen by Professional Engineers for Pipeline Integrity and Capital projects.He recently joined the newly established Canadian subsidiary of the German-based company CSZ (Cornelius-Schwarz-Zeitler) Consulting Engineers in Calgary as a Junior Engineer in Structural Design.In his free time, Jordan enjoys immersing himself in the world of the arts - playing the trumpet, keyboard/piano, and accordion, studying the Russian language, and unleashing his creativity through conceptual design. As an avid car/motorsport enthusiast, Jordan also benefits from a mechanical-oriented perspective through exposure to Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) assembly/disassembly, optimization, and associated maintenance.
