Jordan McGillis is the economics editor of the Manhattan Institute's City Journal magazine and an adjunct fellow at the Global Taiwan Institute, a Washington-based, Taiwan-focused policy forum. He studies energy policy, technology, geopolitics, and trade.Prior to his tenure with City Journal, McGillis was a Manhattan Institute policy analyst specializing in energy, technology, and economic progress. Before that, he was deputy director of policy at the Institute for Energy Research. He has written for Bloomberg, Nikkei Asia, CNN, and many other publications.
