The Senior Supply Chain Planner is responsible for allmerchandise/supply chain planning activities for theproduct categories within their assigned businessdivision. This job is accountable for the end to endownership, development, coordination, planning andcommunication of all logistics strategies for theirspecific product category responsibility. Supply ChainPlanners are the primary point of contact and areaccountable for ensuring optimal resolutionof inventoryin-stock issues, depth, timing and efficient flow ofinventory to support financial objectives.Supply ChainPlanning includes managing the purchasing process,creating/managing inventory budgets/plans, developingoptimal plans to support reset activity, seasonal buildentry/exit, as well as, ongoing promotional activity.Key Responsibilities:Manages end-to-end supply chain performance forthe category with a focus on margin, markdown, andproductive inventory management.Collaborates closely with Demand management tounderstand the forecasted requirements andmanages supply to achieve and maintain high s ofcustomer service while achieving inventoryproductivity targets.Optimizes inventory holding s within the totalsupply chain through a detailed understanding of thekey planning parameters and end to end processes.Manages and executes merchandise planningstrategy and Open to Buy (OTB) processes across allchannels as well as manage vendor collaboration andcompliance activities.Serves as the primary point of contact to supportquestions/opportunities regarding store in-stock,inventory strategy/s/performance, and tactical flowof inventory.Ensures day-to-day cross-functional alignment andexecution of inventory strategies and tacticalinventory plans.

Tactfully identifies items with system settings higher than company standards and made system suggestions to increase turn or non- stocking of an item.• Develops standard reporting for Supply Chain Planners and team.• Completes item order multiple reviews to ensure we are ordering as efficiently as possible, while maintaining an adequate balance of inventory within the network

Managed orders to support inventory plans and in-stock metrics. I construct and maintain replenishment programs for vendors and my assigned product group. I partner with my Supply Chain Planner to implement buy plans for product resets and new vendors. Weekly, I perform root-cause analysis at the assortment / item level by monitoring inventory levels and forecast accuracy in order to meet inventory demand. Continually partner with merchandising, LGS, planning, transportation, and vendors in product group to satisfy customer needs.
