As the CEO and founding partner of Youth One, my primary responsibilities include supporting and leading our team, shaping organizational strategy and development, overseeing youth research and education initiatives, and managing fund development.About Youth One:Youth One addresses a growing need with a deliberate approach. Every youth possesses immense potential, yet many lack a dedicated community to help them fully realize and live it. Youth One provides mentorship-based programs, meals, and support services for youth aged 11-18. Our programs aim to create a sense of belonging, support, and guidance for students during their most formative years.History:Established in 2014, Youth One emerged in response to the demand for affordable, quality-driven, mentorship-based programs supporting youth after school. In North America, 1 in every 2 youth grows up without a mentor or caring adult, leaving them to navigate life without essential guidance and support during their crucial developmental years. Research indicates that having even one positive role model/mentor significantly reduces risk factors such as drug and alcohol abuse, crime rates, mental health issues, and dropout rates. Our mission is to ensure no youth has to face life alone. We firmly believe that supporting youth to live out their full potential enhances the future health of our community. Youth One operates as a project of Bridges of Hope, located in Lethbridge, Alberta.Since its inception, Youth One annually serves approximately 650 individual youth members in Lethbridge and has played a role in coaching various Youth Organization startups across Canada and internationally.

Formerly served as the Director of Youth Services, and founder of the MAT Youth Centre under the Boys and Girls Club of Lethbridge. Focused on three key pillars—mentoring, assisting, and transforming—the MAT provided a safe and empowering environment for youth aged 11-19. The drop-in center welcomed nearly 200 teens from the community weekly. The center's success gained national attention, reflecting its commitment to offering free programs and activities. Additionally, the MAT provided valuable education assistance, including free homework drop-ins and career support. Noteworthy creative programs, such as graffiti classes, photo/video sessions, and skateboard nights, contributed to a diverse and engaging experience for the youth.
