• Program Manager on the largest Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and Partnership for Patients Hospital Improvement Innovation Network (HIIN) project in the country, supporting 1,631 hospitals in 34 states and territories• Co-led AHA/HRET HIIN supplemental project work awarded in September 2017 -- the project focused on collecting the best practices of high performing, freestanding psychiatric and rehabilitation hospitals using the Appreciative Inquiry methodology, and spreading those best practices via a change package tool to other hospitals whose staff and patients can benefit from the implementation of these best practices. As the co-lead on this project, and the lead on the behavioral health hospital work, I:-- Managed relationships with participating behavioral health hospitals-- Facilitated hospital site visits and lead hospital teams through guided discussions and exercises using the Appreciative Inquiry approach-- Managed external partner relationships, such as with subject matter expert consultants, meeting planners, graphic designers and the project's Technical Expert Panel-- Lead the creation of the final project deliverable to CMS (due in September 2018) - a change package tool that will be distributed to behavioral health hospitals across the countryAdditional responsibilities:• Managed relationships and partnerships with state hospital association teams and external project consultants• Managed clinical practices areas within the HIIN project, with the goal of reducing the prevalence of each hospital acquired condition by 20% by the end of the grant period (I managed the Readmissions, Surgical Site Infection, Malnutrition, Culture of Safety, Radiation Safety, Diagnostic Error, and Ventilator-Associated Events practice areas)• Participated in organization-wide committees and teams, such as HRET's copy editing team and the Public Narrative Committee
