    My PhD focused on the study of the DNA damage response in mouse Embryonic Stem cells. The title of my dissertation was: DNA damage signaling networks: from stem cells to cancer. I also developed a technique to study apoptosis in real time using live cell imaging microscopy. Additionally, I also published two reviews, one on cancer stem cells, and a comentary-review on one of my publications that describes the cross-link between oncogenes and integrins regarding chemo-sensitivity.
