The overall objective of this internship was to create and implement an awareness campaign for the trail systems that run through Northern Michigan. I worked directly alongside the Top of Michigan Trails Council based in Petoskey and through events, blogging, presentations, photography, community outreach and connecting with local Chamber's in the area we were able to successfully increase web traffic to the TOMTC website as well as expand local community knowledge of the trail system.
