Repaired a variety of Caterpillar heavy equipment at 4 different shops in the Fort McMurray region: Fort MacKay, Mildred Lake, Town Shop and the Power Systems Shop.NEW EQUIPMENT BUILDS, REPAIRS & REFURBISHINGBuilt & commissioned ~25 new 797 heavy haul trucks as part of a New Equipment Prep Team.Rebuilt and retrofitted Caterpillar 797A/B heavy haul mining trucks for Syncrude and Suncor, as part of Finning’s 797 Rebuild Crew. Replaced engines, transmissions, hydraulic pumps and hydraulic cylinders. Rebuilt/refurbished hydraulic tanks, struts, radiators, final drives and differentials. Repaired hoist valves. Installed dump bodies, radios & VIMS monitoring systems.Diagnosed and repaired all types of systems and components on Caterpillar 797A/B heavy haulers, Caterpillar bulldozers (all sizes), Caterpillar 24M graders, Caterpillar excavators, Caterpillar skidsteers, Caterpillar 993 loader and Caterpillar XQ 20-XQ 2000 generator sets.Interpreted hydraulic and electrical schematics, and troubleshot all types of problems.

Installed & repaired HVAC equipment for 4 months every summer during my junior hockey career.* Followed safe work practices while fabricating materials and installing, replacing and servicingfurnaces, air conditioners, gas piping and ventilation in residential and commercial buildings.* Planned and organized jobs, interpreted blueprints, delegated work and directed apprentices.* Finished all work with no injuries and no lost-time incidents.
