Life has taken me on some great adventures, from exploring the continents of Europe, South America, and Asia to running my own business. However, it was not until the pandemic when I found myself fully immersed in the world of software engineering that I discovered my true passion. It is said, "do what you love" and I definitely find myself taken to that proverbial "zone" when coding. Since my first “Hello World” program, I have been going full speed ahead, absorbing everything I come across and wanting to build more. The problem solving process when coding plays to my strengths, much like when I was a lead station agent at American Airlines. Just as a software engineer troubleshoots and debugs code, I had to diagnose and resolve issues to keep flights on schedule; otherwise, one mistake could potentially disrupt the entire day for passengers.
