In response to the challenges of the pandemic, I founded Kabloom Events, a virtual team-building company for corporate teams. Over the course of two years, Kabloom generated over $2 million in revenue by providing innovative and engaging virtual experiences that helped distributed teams stay connected.I adapted traditional in-person event concepts into the virtual space, developing team-building activities such as scavenger hunts, games, and mental health team builders designed to reduce stress and enhance psychological safety. I scouted and hired talented performers from around the world—including drag queens, magicians, comedians, and musicians—who led these dynamic experiences.In addition to overseeing event production, I hired and trained account managers, developed marketing channels, and supported operational reporting to drive continued success. Kabloom focused on creating a space for team togetherness, cohesion, and mental well-being, providing memorable experiences for corporate clients globally.

At Wild SF Tours, I co-founded a walking tour company that highlighted San Francisco's revolutionary history and vibrant culture through engaging, artist-led experiences. I played a central role in researching and writing scripts for tours, leading hundreds of tours for thousands of tourists and locals, and representing SF’s unique character to international press and businesses. My contributions ranged from creating original songs and multimedia content to foster an educational and entertaining environment, to collaborating with local business owners to boost their exposure to tourists, to leading organizational strategy, operations, finances and team culture and management.I developed a dedicated following of customers who helped spread our story around the globe, and I led efforts to optimize our tours and internal operations. Additionally, I recruited, trained, and mentored a diverse team of artist-guides who embodied the spirit of San Francisco. By fostering a supportive, close-knit culture, I helped our guides thrive both professionally and personally. I also led strategic and financial planning, representing the company at press events, and building alliances with other tour operators.Our efforts resulted in thousands of five-star reviews, yielding many awards including Best of the Bay and Best of SF for multiple years, and an international reputation for offering unforgettable, culturally rich tours of San Francisco.
