About Jordon Thomas
I don’t dip my toe into anything. When I’m interested, I dive in. Headfirst! I have the opposite of commitment issues. I plug into organizations that I believe in. Then I contribute my best. How’d I land a job working with a tech company? Great question! By racing down the road less traveled. I’ve been doing so since graduate school. Two months into my Master’s program, I knew that I wanted to inspire and educate. That’s just what I did! I enjoyed my journey off the beaten path. I worked for organizations that let me exercise my creativity. I’ll never forget the time I invited professional hockey goalie Nolan Schaeffer to bring his gear to my science class and teach my students about the physics and analytics. The kids were mesmerized. They’ll share that memory with their kids. That’s the kind of change I live to make. That’s the kind of zeal that I bring to my workplace.Yes, I’m versatile, adaptable, and dynamic. But…so what? I’m most proud of my ability to work with people who are like me and dissimilar to me. I bring out the best in both! I share my shine and help others do the same! What do I do for fun outside of work? I’m a superhero. Sort of. I write stories about them. I’ve spent 20+ years building my superhero empire. Needless to say, the path has been neither linear nor easy…but I haven’t given up. I’ll never give up. I wrote 7 books, published the first one, sold that book at New York ComiCon, and most recently condensed the 7 books into a screenplay that will one day hit the big screen. Just you wait and see! I’m still editing that screenplay and getting it competition-ready. I can’t wait to get it out there. It’s been a LONG time coming. What’s the name of my superhero epic, you ask? V-Force. What should employers know about me? I cannot clock in and tune out. Never have. Never will. Wherever I go, I’m fully present. I beam with energy, offer unique perspective, and provide expertise where it’s welcome. If you’re looking to accomplish something great–something that’s never been done before–then we should work together. Send me a message!
