I am a graduate of the Erasmus University Rotterdam in Economics and Business and followed a post-master Indirect Tax at Tilburg University and a post-master EU Customs Law at Erasmus University Rotterdam. In 2019, I have started a second (part-time) master study in Law at the Open University. For 10+ years my area of expertise is VAT and Customs. For several years, my profession is being the Tax Manager of a Tax team consisting of five staff members. In addition, I was the Secretary of the Joint Works Council and currently board member of the ME/cvs association.Primarily key responsibilities:1: Tax Compliance: ensuring VAT compliance of multiple VAT registrations for several entities. Ensuring compliance with EU Customs policies (preferential/non-preferential origin, special customs procedures like End-Use).2: Tax Advice: providing tax assurance to management and Business Units. 3: Tax Audits and Litigation: Managing tax audits and litigation.
