As a Mathnasium Lead Instructor, I balance leadership and instructional responsibilities by directing instructors to ensure all students receive appropriate attention, coaching instructors to improve their instruction and use of the Mathnasium Method, as well as by providing instruction to students. I am responsible for tracking student attendance, updating the work in students' Binders, and supervising daily cleaning tasks.

I was awarded the opportunity to participate in the 2019 Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) at the Dunlap Institute, fitting models to radio observations to compare dust content in different phases of the interstellar medium. I attended meetings with my research supervisor to discuss progress and results, as well as weekly meetings with the polarization research group to share progress and feedback with other researchers in the field.
