Mentored a rural high school STEM student as part of the In2Science mentoring program, which aims to ensure that all students have access to STEM education. As part of this program, I participated in mentor training and working with children inductions. As a mentor, I introduced the student to university and the university application process, discussed scientific careers in Australia and current science news, and participated in experimental design activities.
