Hello, my name is Jordyn. I am currently enrolled in the veterinary assistant program at Algonquin College. I have always had an interest in veterinary medicine for as long as I can remember. My passion for animals is why I decided to pursue this career. I currently own two horses that I board at Little Rock Farm just outside of Carleton Place. I spend most of high school working at a farm during the weekends and this is where I gained so much knowledge about large animal welfare, and husbandry skills. I'm hoping to use the skills that I learned in this program to work at a large animal practice, and I look forward to learning as much as I can about large animals.
