This position reported to the IT International Projects Leader at the local office and the IT Special Projects Leader at Corporate Office in Milwaukee, WI.On this company I was sub-contracted for the position ERP Programmer Analyst and became a member of their corporate office IT department offshore development team. During my time with this company my responsibilities were:1) Designing and developing of QAD MFG/PRO custom applications and report writing using Progress 4GL.2) Preparing and maintaining documentation outlining the functional and technical basis for the applications and reports following their meticulous Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology which adhered to Sarbanes-Oxley auditing requirements.3) Ensuring the consistency and accuracy of the MFG/PRO custom applications and reports trough a very detailed series of quality and functional tests in accordance to their SDLC methodology.4) Working directly with end-users, department managers and IT Project managers at corporate office to provide needed QAD deliverables.5) Mentoring and leading of less experienced members of the team in code development, test plans and all functional and technical deliverables required on each project.

This position reported to the Manufacturing Plant Finance Controller and the IT Manager at Corporate Office in Oxnard, CA. My main responsibilities as IT Superintendent were:• Implementation of policies and procedures related to information systems hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security and backup. These policies and procedures were mainly developed by the IT Manager at headquarters office and it was my duty to adapt them to our local environment.• Overseeing operations and processes relating to critical systems. In addition to MFG/PRO and in order to support some of the local functions such as Production Planning and Incoming/Outgoing Quality Control, several standalone applications had been developed which over time became critical to the operation.• Communicating with other departments to report and resolve software, hardware and operation problems.• Supervision of IT staff and prioritization of their daily activities. These daily activities ranged from Help Desk support, Local Network services administration and in house development projects. In addition to my responsibilities as IT Superintendent I was also the Manufacturing Plant in house Programmer Analyst for the company’s ERP system MFG/PRO (QAD) which had been recently acquired at the time I started with them. On this roll I was an invaluable resource to corporate office IT department during the implementation of the following modules in the Manufacturing Plant:• Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP).• Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).• Physical Inventory and Cycle Count Procedures for Finish Good and Raw materials.• Data Warehouse and reporting database (SQL Server 2000) to support the Business Intelligence function. • Integration of INNOVA (Mexican Accounting System) and GRS Solutions (Mexican Customs Accounting Systems) to the MFG/PRO Environment.

This position reported to the manufacturing plant General Manager with dotted line to the IT Director at Corporate office in Hong Kong I Implemented ERP software QAD MFG/PRO 8.5 running in Progress 8.3E database on a Unix (HP) class server on our manufacturing plant. After completing required training with the IT group at corporate office in Hong Kong, I was tasked with the installation, data conversion from legacy system and user training of the different modules selected for our implementation; these modules consisted of: Sales Orders, Item Master, Bill of Materials, Materials Requirement Planning (MRP), Purchasing, Work Orders, Shop Floor Control, Inventory Control, Sales Orders Shipments, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost Accounting and a large set of custom functionality developed by the IT group at corporate office designed to solved business problems standard functionality could not.In addition to my role in the implementation, maintenance and support of the ERP system I also performed basic network engineer tasks such as:a) Windows Servers Installation and administration.b) Setup user accounts and password for both the LAN and the ERP system.c) Monitor network usage and security.d) Manage email, spam, and virus protection.e) Manage system back up for both the file servers and the ERP system.f) Install computer networks and other data communication systems.

I started with this company as a trainee during my Senior Year in college working part time and washired as a full time employee as soon as I graduated few months later. This position (both as a trainee and full time employee) reported to the MIS Manager and my main responsibilities were:1.- PRISM Manufacturing system users access administration.2.- Functional support to PRISM users from Purchasing, Warehouse, Engineering, Shipping, Billing and Accounting departments in following modules: 2.1.- Material Requirements Planning. 2.2.- Materials Purchasing and Receiving. 2.3.- Materials and Finish Good Inventory Control. 2.4.- Item Master, Bill of Materials, Work Orders and Finish Good Receiving. 2.5.- Sales Orders Entry, Finish Goods Shipping and Customer Billing. 2.6.- Finish Good Cost Roll Up and Material Inventory Valuation.3.- Development of custom reports and data input screens for PRISM using RPG and COBOL for IBM AS/400.4.- IBM DB2 Basic Administration Tasks.5.- IBM AS/400 Basic Administration Tasks. 6.- Development of in house systems and data processing applications using Clipper 5.0.7.- Desktop Support to PC and AS/400 Terminal users.

I was accepted as an intern on this state agency during my Junior Year in college. This position reported to the Data Processing/Systems Development Manager and my main duties were:1.- Development of custom reports in RPG and COBOL for IBM S/36.2.- Development of data processing applications in Clipper 5.0.3.- Desktop support to PC and IBM S/36 Terminal users.
