Responsible in ensuring that all concerned roles and groups are aware of the work planned, work to be performed, extended or suspended and finishes job within the area of responsibility.5. Area Controllers may serve as mentors responsible to ensure persons performing work understands:• Work Scope• Sequential steps to be performed• Hazards• Mitigating Controls• Isolations• Permits and Certificates (JSA, LOTO, HWP, GWP, Isolation permits)6. During this process, the Area Controllers will be required to:• Understands when to stop work• Understands the planned work, operating/maintenance, construction, commissioning and emergency procedures.• Visit the work area where the work is to be performed.
