I am a programmer who loves videogames, this took me to co-found a game development company (Freaky Creations), the first Ecuadorian video game company, who has published a game on a major gaming platform. This allowed me to not only improve my programming skills but also to experience a lot of other responsibilities involved in developing a game. I ended up working as a Game producer, and a public relations person for the company, also I was the one that had to be responsible for all the administrative portion of the company, budget contracts and whatnot. The game shipped on April 2018 for PS4 and Steam, later with the help of an external developer and the work of my friend and co-founder of the company, I managed to launch the game on Xbox and Nintendo Switch.The team we created for this game was built from the ground up, none of us had ever developed something for a real marketplace, none of us had any interdisciplinary working experience, this allowed us to form the team to our needs and linking's, and ended up with a great team of professionals and up to this day, friends.With a subset of the Freaky Creations team, we founded another game development company, for smaller projects called Aenima Studios, we did a couple of private projects for a client, but the pandemic messed with the client's launch plans and the project was closed.In between that and since the first launch I have been working as a Mobile Engineer and later as a Full Stack Engineer for a software company (First Criptext and then GeekyDrop, both are the same employer), that has been not only a place of growth but also allowed me to work with some incredible people, and on real world problems. I have gained a lot of experience on my craft thanks to this and all of the projects we have been able to launch.
