Recently research activities:o We work on Applied Industrial Computed Tomography Scan and polymer research. o We write fifteen scientific manuscripts, one book, 1 article of scientific diffusion.o Conduct lab research using Design of Experiments. Introduce GLP to Analytical Chemistry Department. o We are conducting R&D on novel polymerization techniques polymer synthesis, including biopolymers using DOE.o We work on the Synthesis of copolymers with PLA for their use in biodegradable fibers.o We work as advisor of more than 25 undergraduate students, and 2 Ph.D.o We teach more than 20 courses in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Material Chemistry, Chemometrics, and Quality Control.o We receive recognition of the Research National Council (CONACYT) as a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) in level 1.

o We participate in the Supervision for the administration and governance of graduate studies.o We serve as a contact point for graduate students enrolled in the program.o Act as the liaison among graduate students, program faculty, University, and Graduate School administrations. o Realigning and leading multidisciplinary research groups in the Faculty of Chemical Sciences. o We create new relationships with local Industries, commerce chambers, and government.ACHIEVEMENTS:1. We manage projects and services with more than 100% income growth.2. Negotiation and sign agreements with Industry that represent a substantial income increase, 3.2 Mi USD, between 2009 and 2015. 3. Management of Institutional Projects for funding and creation of the Advanced Center for Research & Development with VW Mexico (1.2 million USD) (2014), focused on an Industrial Computed Tomography.4. We create multiple databases for identification processes, procedures, infrastructure, and research potential.5. We establish relationships with local polymer and chemical industries.

o We manage the relationship with the internal customer in the R&D process.o We are conducting projects for developing polymer blends of controlled morphology, high elongation, and transparent materials, furthermore, in polymer synthesis, characterization, and processing.ACHIEVEMENTS:1. We develop compatibilizers for blends and alloys at Lab Scale.2. We identify collateral non-desirables reactions in the plant process by an inadequate monomer, preventing economic loss, and participate in the set up of an Industrial R&D Lab.
