Added set ups to visually count hardware and minimize FOD and traceability risks.  Created the Manufacturing assembly process document to be followed, including the release in SAP, and Teamcenter. Implemented the Rolled Throughput Yield points and trained the personal in how to input the information in SAP. Performed capability analysis on the key measurements required for the process and optimized them until a pass criterion was achieved. Trained operators in the usage of the measurement and input of data in SAP.Listened to concerns regarding Health and Safety and implemented solutions.  Actively participated in the DFMA, Proposed and Implemented actions derived from it and from the Manufacturing Readiness Level review. Provided time and cost estimate for those actions, and a path forward to complete them within the program milestones. Provided status of the actions to the team.  Created the process for the assembly and test of the Bioanalyzer, the first of its kind in Canada, meant to be used by astronauts to test blood samples while on the space station.

 Proposed and developed a set of jigs to amend an error in several filters that had opposite interfaces misaligned. By reverse engineering each of the filters, creating the set of jigs and creating an alternative way of assembling them. The parts were recovered, the program avoid scrapping the parts, precious time delays were avoided and a recognition from the customer was given. Provided technical input to R&D group to create Breadboards for new Microwave components. Created new process to accommodate those products, provided assessment of new materials and technologies.As a result new SMA ka circulators, TNC circulators and loads were brought to the production line. Optimized the soldering and assembly process for TNC circulators by introducing a new bonding process that provided an alignment within 0.0002” increasing the product yield by 30 percent.  Created new concepts the soldering and assembly process for the SMA circulators, introducing a universal torquing jig that self-aligned the unit and created a corresponding set of soldering jigs with different key dimension to accommodate dimensional discrepancies. Standardized the jig philosophy for the bonding of the same family of load products. Standardized the usage of handling jigs while applying epoxies to small coax components
