I’m a graduate of the University of Connecticut with degrees in journalism and communications.Currently, I’m working as a copy editor for the Hearst Connecticut Media Group.I have worked as a freelance beat reporter for The Rockaway Wave, a newspaper based in Queens, New York, covering the Brooklyn Cyclones for the past two seasons.I also write for Metsmerized Online, contributing to the site’s coverage of the New York Mets.At UConn, I spent four years writing for the student newspaper, The Daily Campus. While there I worked as a beat reporter and columnist, covering a wide range of sports including men’s and women’s basketball, football, men’s and women’s hockey and more. I was also involved in the production of the newspaper, working as both a copy editor and designer multiple nights a week.I’ve had bylines over the past four years at a few other websites, including Rising Apple, Amazin’ Avenue, 12up and SkullKing Sports.
