I consider myself as a dedicated and hardworking individual with a big passion for engineering. I thrive on finding innovative solutions to challenges and enjoy applying my knowledge and experience in different projects.I have been actively engaged in projects spanning the entire product development lifecycle, from conceptual design to manufacturing. Additionally, my focus and passion about FEA mainly static structural analysis ensured the safety and reliability of the structures that I’ve designed and/or taken part in.Up until now, I can count on: - two years of experience in race-car designing and manufacturing - one year leading the mechanical design department of a Danish drone team- over two years as a mechanical design engineer at a Danish robotics start-up- and close to year as mechanical composite engineer working within the wind turbine baldes design department

Composite Structural Engineer @ VestasCapgemini Engineering Jun 2024 - PresentClient: VestasMain tasks: - Conducted structural analyses on onshore turbine blades (V166, V163, etc) as well as offshore blades (V236) to evaluate the impact of a given input load set on their design during transportation, handling and storage -
Research And Development EngineerCapgemini Engineering Apr 2024 - Jun 2024Lisbon, PortugalClient: Bosch - Worked on finding solutions for different bugs and evaluated their gains in terms of quality and time consumption with the use of GitHub CopilotPotential clients: Automotive Industry Team of 8 engineers working on an ADAS - Digital Twins for Autonomous driving, project that unifies GenAI and Immersive. ADAS, or Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems, are human-machine interface technologies that assist drivers with the vehicle’s safe operation, increasing car and road safety - Defined the non-functional requirements to be taken into account for the architecture of an ADAS software system as per the ISO/IEC 25010 standard- Developed the buttons in the NVIDIA Omniverse environment capable of getting the area in the car highlighted as you touch them -
Composite Structural Engineer @ VestasCapgemini Engineering Nov 2023 - Apr 2024Lisbon, PortugalClient: VestasWorking at Vestas Design Center in Porto as part of the Blades Structures Engineering team Main tasks:- Designed LE (Leading Edge) DFEM’s (Detailed Finite Element Models) at different radius along their V236 turbine blade’s spanwise such as at R5, R12, R20 and R26 - Prepared the DFEM’s for mesh generation & properly generated their mesh to assess the impact of glue cracks in the model’s bondline under certain static load cases -
Mechanical Design EngineerCoalescent Mobile Robotics Aug 2021 - Jul 2023Odense, DenmarkMain tasks:- Supported all stages from design to production of 5 robots - Documented the mobile robot assembly procedure - Provided timely and good quality solutions within the mechanical and production field - Ensured the interface requirements between the robot and trolley were met during the trolley design phase - Improved Design for Assembly and Manufacturing (DFMA) of parts across the robot (Eletronic boxes; buttons panel; batteries cover) - Produced CAD drawings of all the mechanical components using SolidWorks and GD&T - Improved the design of the LIDAR holder frame to adjust its angle by conducting and documenting a test to evaluate the angle deviaton of the LIDAR - Designed a more reliable and compact suspension system to avoid magnets decoupling and wear, and to avoid high torsion on the spring using SolidWorks and FEA to design validation - Manage to prototype all the 10 components and to assemble them, including on the robot, to perform functioning tests - Led the product design changes and executed the mechanical tasks portfolio across the mobile robot - Managed to design and 3D print adaptors to connect the legs of the testing trolley to their wheels -
Mechanical Design Member - MechanicsSdu Eagles Sep 2020 - Jun 2021Odense, DenmarkMain tasks:- Designed the airframe of the first Tail-sitter drone of the team using SolidWorks alongside with XFLR5 for wing design, stability performance and flight dynamics, and FEA for validation of the structural integrity of the wings and fixture components - Led the mechanical design of the drone; responsible for designing, manufacturing a prototype made of foam, and testing- Performed design calculations to verify simulation results using fracture mechanics and mechanics of materials tools- Collaborated in the design of a new package release mechanism to avoid unintentional opening of the doors of the drone due to the overall payload weight carried by the drone- Documented the mechanical preliminary design of the drone scoring 30/50 points (Very good) after IMECHE UAS engineer's review - Conducted motion simulations on the package release mechanism to assess its performance - Responsible for the component's placement within the airframe, including LIDAR; Camera; PCB’s- Designed the drone internal packaging for components placement using SolidWorks Sheet Metal design tool- Produced CAD drawings using SolidWorks and GD&T for all the components in the drone, including assembly, subassemblies, and parts- Managed to design the EDF's wiring tubes in order to both hold the fans and allow the wires to go through, and improved side plates so the drone could stand still for longer whenever it landes on the ground. - Managed to study and perform several Finit Element analyses such as Fatigue and bending to the wings as to verify its safety under the most severe conditions that it will possibly face up with while flying -
Group Technical Director - Steering & Suspension SystemIsel Formula Student Sep 2019 - Aug 2020Lisboa, PortugalMain tasks:- Used project management tools to coordinate the group of Vehicle Dynamics of the team in order to build the steering system - Led the mechanical design of the steering system; responsible for designing the rack and pinion mechanismby performing analytical calculations to define a desired Ackermann geometry for the car, used SolidWorks to create a model capable of defining the required length of the Tie-rods, pinion travel for given car dimensions and angles to reach - Supported stages of the product development including concept ideation phase and design of the steering system -
Group Team Member - Vehicle IntegrationIsel Formula Student Sep 2018 - Sep 2019Lisboa, PortugalMain tasks:- Project related communication with suppliers to ensure the requirements for the parts are implemented - Designed the firewall of the car and the low voltage battery holder using SolidWorks Sheet metal design tool; responsible for designing, sourcing, manufacturing, and assembling in the car -
