• Chasing up all orders due through to despatch• Preparing all despatch folders, checking clients purchase orders and advising the packing bay of any issues or special requirements• Taking photographs of orders before, during and after packing and downloading these onto a SharePoint.• Completing all necessary paperwork for despatch of goods including commercial invoices, packing lists, Certificates of Origin, documents required for Letters of Credit and any other documentation requested by clients.• Preparing all shipping marks including laminated labels and stencils. Checking all export goods are marked with the ISPM15 wood stamp.• Liaising with clients and their freight forwarders to arrange air, sea and road freight shipments.• Booking both domestic and export courier shipments of goods and documents and printing off all labels and manifests.• Producing manual delivery notes as and when required.• Arranging returns of hire equipment.• Arranging imports when required.• Day to day filing of delivery notes, job files and any courier manifests.• Updating wood stock and booking out all wood and packing materials used.• All couriers, haulier and freight forwarder invoices to be checked and signed off.• Working out estimated weights and dimensions from drawings and providing packing and delivery quotes.• Providing a weekly report of all goods in despatch and the current status of each individual job through a Microsoft Access database, using SQL Server 2010 to; recording, querying, administering of: All Projects, Search or Query on: (Projects, Client Info, Shipping Data, Values etc. As required)Comparison of: (Despatches, Receipts, by time period, Packing Info etc. as required)Running Reports: as required • Updating the weight register and signing off all job packs once order has been completed.• LOC (Letter of Credit)• Bill of Lading
