I work part-time as a tax accountant specializing in small business taxation.

I oversee many of Elgin Community College's non-credit programs including our short-term career training, Kids' College, and personal enrichment courses plus over 1,500 online classes. Our fastest growing activity is the contract training services our department provides for employees of area businesses, nonprofit organizations, school districts, and municipalities. I am fortunate to work with an excellent, dedicated staff primarily serving our Illinois College District 509. The Center provides free, unlimited, no-obligation business counseling to prospective and existing business owners.

Oversaw the activities of Elgin Community College's Illinois Small Business Development Center in spring, 2011 while we interviewed permanent candidates.

Provided business counseling to over 500 prospective and existing small business owners in the Elgin, Kishwaukee and Harper community college districts on behalf of Elgin Community College's Illinois Small Business Development Center. Counseling was rendered from our main office in Elgin, at satellite locations in various municipalities and at business owner's locations. I taught numerous noncredit entrepreneurial classes during this time.
