Design cost effective, standards based networks for IBM internal lines of business and their commercial customers. I was the team lead of the logical network group that supported IBM internal and commercial accounts. My responsibilities involved designing, testing, monitoring, configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting of the Cisco routers and switches, Wireless Access Points, PIX firewalls and Intrusion Detection Systems. I have a thorough understanding of the IP, BGP and OSPF routing protocols. I am familiar with the use of the Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office productivity applications.

I was part of a group sent to Madrid, Spain to help in the testing of various systems of the Sydney Olympics project for IBM GSC (Games System Center). These test ranged from the LRS (local results system) code, CR&IS (central results & information systems), T.V. graphics, WNPA (world news press agency) and print distribution. I was involved in the testing of the CR&IS and supported the code testers of the LRS in 36 sports. My primary focus was on the testing of INFO (Information Retrieval System) a web-based intranet. INFO allowed the 260,000 athletes, coaches, media, volunteers, and International Sport Federation members to access athlete biographies, news and competition results. It was accessible at over 2000 kiosks and workstations throughout the sport venues during the games.
