• Participate in pre-sale customer evaluations of OrproVision solutions. • Perform high-level applications support to set up and program the equipment to inspect efficiently in the customer’s environment. • Ensure that OrproVision equipment functions properly by assessing customer utilization needs and specifications, preparing sites, installing systems, gaining customer acceptance of systems, and doing post-installation checkups. • Orient the customer on use of OrproVision equipment and provide training on operation, complex applications and set ups. • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and provide hardware and software solutions for customer problems with OrproVision systems. • Evaluation of application, process, and environmental factors as well as assurance that the system performs to spec. • Set up, manage, and report on special projects, coordinating test programs for software versions, hardware changes, and Alpha and Beta site. • Apply systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications. • Convey information about product performance, market needs, and new directions by utilizing field experience with OrproVision products and knowledge of the customer. Manipulate the application to gain data which helps to determine the source of defects. • Advise on a wide range of processes, make technical observations about things not related to OrproVision’s equipment but which may have an impact on customer performance and yields. • Identify process issues from data gathered through troubleshooting efforts, audits, or defect detection process.

• Utilize software and hardware engineering talents, expert knowledge of Orbotech products, and knowledge of the customer’s SMT process to perform field technical support and consultation which optimizes the customer’s value in Orbotech products. • Devise Orbotech solutions which help the customer improve uptime, meet a wide variety of manufacturing specs, and adapt to changes in their product requirements. • Responsible for providing technical support for pre-sale and post-sale activities. Focal point for all technical sales-related issues, installation, and maintenance of the equipment.
