At L.A. CADA, our team is dedicated to providing top-notch support for individuals battling addiction, and my role as a CENS is pivotal in this mission. Leveraging my comprehensive education in social work, drug studies, and human development from Rio Hondo College, I've cultivated strong leadership abilities and an engaging approach to client interactions. Our collaborative efforts have enabled us to create a supportive environment where clients feel empowered to overcome their challenges.In 2021, my career began with no real vision at where my start will be. I started as a janitor at this agency. After years of combating systematic oppressions, my mentality has remained the same. To constantly fight a mentality of complacency and continue striving for a better future. After my fathers severe drug addiction. I was forced to man up for my family. Having to provide and support my household. Now I get the blessing to have a family of my own. I’m currently in the honorary list for graduation for spring 2025. I’ll be moving towards my Bachelors Degree in Social work to now Graduate school. With my faith and trust in god, I can accomplish anything that is in my power and ability. With the great pleasure do I work at the same Juvenile hall detention center I once was housed in. Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall, which was once a very dark place for me. Is now the place I call my second home. I bring inspiration and hope for those kids that have battled systemic and chronic trauma. My story is just starting.
