Jorge Sanchez joined the PHC in July 1998. Jorge received his Bachelor of Computer Engineer from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in 1993. Jorge has also received his computer certifications such as CNA, CNE, MCSA & MCSE.Prior PHC, Jorge was the Regional IT Manager for Grupo Sidek-Situr where he managed, administered & supervised all the IT & Telecommunications infrastructure for Mexico Northwest Region & USA Properties. After 8 years of employment with Sidek-Situr, Jorge decided to look for new opportunities & challenges so he relocated to San Diego where he joined PHC.Jorge is responsible for all the Systems & Telecommunications infrastructure around all our hotels IT daily operations to be sure they are performing in satisfactory conditions 24x7. Jorge has an extensive background of twenty years experience in the hospitality industry for hotels with limited or full service operations. He possesses excellent IT & Project Management skills. He demonstrates proven strengths in IT & Computer Science performing Telecommunications, LAN’s, Wi-Fi’s & WAN’s installations. He possesses IT knowledge for software engineering, server maintenance, security platforms environments and diagnostic testing solutions & techniques. Insures verification, certification & repairs for hardware & software. He has excellent skills to interact with vendors & co-workers in a great workable environment. He has been involved in overseeing multiple major renovation & construction projects & acquisitions. His extensive background includes different hotel brands around Mexico & USA as Radisson, Sheraton, Continental Plaza Resorts, Intercontinental, Holiday Inn, Hilton Garden Inn & Best Western hotels as well as independent hotels.Jorge is truly committed to the successful progress within the organization and showing his dedication to the company’s core values according to our mission statement.
