Throughout the course of this year, I worked in several projects, the major one being for Axion Studios. This involved creating 84 unique characters from sketch to the final rendered color for a fantasy game called Vrondiball galaxy.

During my time with TRC, I worked within the Art Department as a concept artist where I had the opportunity to work on concepts for the Wishingtooth games as well as characters, environments and props. I also worked on the illustrations for the Wishingtooth books.

Being a freelance designer was a very enriching time in my career. I learned to combine the responsibilities of design with marketing and finance and enhanced my people skills due to dealing with demanding customers. I worked from concepts for video games and films to editorial / digital illustration

During this period of my career, the challenge presented was to take charge of all the graphic design and illustration within a creative team made up of three members, with whom I had launched this small studio.Here, I learned how to work well in a team, besides the vital importance of project management; monitoring each of our tasks in order to meet set deadlines. Managing a variety of projects at the same time increased my versatility.

My job as an industrial designer taught me the importance of ideas and how creativity and imagination play an important role when undertaking a project and when providing solutions to problems. It taught me how to plan my time effectively in order to meet deadlines as well as how to work within a budget.Whilst in this same company, my original job description gradually changed to graphic designer and I discovered that graphic design was really my calling. I managed all tasks related to this field, such as the design of cd covers, the instruction booklets, the brochures, business cards, all the internal stationery design as well as the redesigning of the company´s logo.
