Reporting to the Divisional CEO, I look after Finance and Business Development for 20 countries, c£600m revenue and more than £26m CAPEX. Based in London, I have a team of country FDs functionally reporting to me and I work closely with the Group CFO and his team. I am responsible for planning and executing the Group strategy, budgets, forecasts, long term plans and all company policies and procedures, including results, taxation, treasury, internal audit and business controls. I also define and restructure, when needed, the finance departments looking for all the efficiencies available. As CFO, I occasionally deputise the Divisional CEO at Executive Boards. During this period, SSP Group has become a Plc, listed in the London Stock Exchange; I have been part of the Group that has defined the Strategy for the next three years after becoming a listed company.

Based in the UK Group Head office, reporting to the Group CFO, working with the country FDs and Divisional CEOs and CFOs, and being part of the Group Investment Committee, I was in charge of appraising all the Group’s investment cases (exceeding £80m p.a.), business development and CAPEX policies and processes and post-investment reviews.

Reporting to the General Manager in Spain and CFO in the Western Europe and Nordic Division, with a team of 30 people distributed across Spain, I account for the month and year end results, budgeting, forecasting, long term and investment plans. I am responsible for the banks relationship and tax matters. During these years I have managed a tax audit, internal and external audits as well as a complete restructure in the finance department, including systems, duties and people, gaining efficiency.

CFO at Inypsa Informes y Proyectos S.A, a multidisciplinary engineering firm listed on the Madrid and Barcelona stock exchanges, comprising a group of 15 businesses, with a turnover exceeding 65 million euros and a workforce of 420 employees. My responsibilities include the Group’s departments of finances, cash management, administration, management control, quality, recruitment and human resources, with a team of 26 people. Amongst other projects, I have supervised the financing of investments, for a sum of 18 million euros over the long term (including a project finance deal) and 11 over the short term; restructuring of the workforce; changing the systems for reporting to the Board of Directors; and incorporation of an operating subsidiary in Turkey.
