Jorge Calvo realizó su pregrado en Business Management, Hospitality & Tourism Management, y Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Innovation de Purdue University en Indiana, USA. Desempeñó el grueso de su carrera en el sector hotelero y de restauración. Primero, como parte del selecto programa de futuros líderes de The Ritz Carlton Hotel Company (Dallas, EEUU) y, posteriormente, como Gerente de la División Gastronómica en Los Tajibos Hotel & Convention Center, la empresa familiar en Santa Cruz, Bolivia. En 2016, formando parte del equipo negociador y liderando el proceso de Due Dilligence, el hotel realizó un exit industrial valorado en $50mm. Jorge realizó un MBA en el IE Business School (Madrid) y luego trabajó durante un año y medio en Proaltus, un multi family office ubicado en Madrid que gestiona activos e inversiones alternativas por encima de €800 millones. Actualmente Jorge es fundador y Director General de Legado Hospitality donde desarrolla y estructura negocios en el campo de la hospitalidad.Jorge Calvo has dual degrees in Business Management and Hospitality & Tourism Management, and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from Purdue University (Indiana, USA). Then, as Director of the Gastronomy Division at Los Tajibos Hotel & Convention Center, his family's company located in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. In 2016, Jorge was part of the negotiating committee and leader in the Due Dilligence process, as the company realized an industrial exit with a valuation of $50mm. Jorge completed an MBA at IE Business School and then worked at Proaltus during a year and a half, a multi family office based in Madrid with more than €800 million in AuM. Today, Jorge is founder and Managing Director at Legado Hospitality where he develops and structures projects in the hospitality industry.
