Since 2011, I have had the pleasure of being in the rapidly growing city of Shanghai. Living in a fast paced, exciting city, I have had the pleasure of working on some innovative projects that have helped develop the blueprints to being an international community leader working with people from all over the world. My goal since coming to Shanghai has been to find "diamonds in the rough" and work on developing existing projects to guide programs with a fool proof system of growth and development. I had the pleasure of taking a small, but mighty program and recognizing its great potential. It served an underrepresented portion of the community, an early education center devoted to the principles of learning through experience for international students at an affordable price. During my tenure at Miyi, we grew it from a campus of 24 students to currently more than 200 students across 2 campuses. In that time, I have been responsible for building and expanding in to four progressively larger campuses as we expanded. I completely overhauled the school’s marketing and media presence creating high quality marketing, videos, social media and reached out to the community to create citywide events to increase the school’s profile without spending a lot of money. We have recently expanded outside of the education sector in to the Food & Beverage industry with a physical location of the recently renovated and revamped BNC Neighborhood Sports Bar which has been an excellent success thus far and is positioned to continue on to be a leader in its sector.I am hungry for a new challenge, finding new challenges along the way and working on continuing my development of exciting new businesses in Shanghai and abroad.
