Offering a collaborative style approach to sales through targeting different industries and understanding the needs of customers to find cost effective packing solutions. Thorough comprehension on retail preparation processes and ensuring deadlines are met through liaising with the operational elements of the business.

My skills included frequent use of excel through checking order confirmations and I have a strong awareness of administrative based tasks such as logistical arrangements for overseas buying trips. I have assisted the buyer in picking product, liaised with suppliers regularly and meet first-hand the agents at external buying appointments. This combined with my personal love of fashion facilitated a unique learning experience into the buying sector of the fashion industry.

As a Visual Merchandising Assistant, I worked in a new department thriving in its development and growth. This experience taught me the impact of e-commerce and to understand the consumer market. The need to visually represent the products in an accurate way to reflect its individual characteristics was something I partook in daily. Ensuring colour, shape, fit and all the products details were clear in an online capacity was fundamental to the process, this in turn taught me about the individual difficulties that arose dependent on a brand basis. I also feel my communication skills improved vastly during this role by liaising with stylists regularly to clearly define objects and develop new ways to improve the true representation of products across the website.
