I’m President and founder of ACOB, a 19 years company based in Mexico City and NEWLINK EVENTS, a Canadian organization based in Ottawa, both event-data management companies for the trade show industry.My goal is to combine technology and science to help show organizers to turn their trade shows a more profitable experience for their customers: exhibitor and visitors.To achieve my goal, I have encouraged myself and colleagues within my organization into a continuous researching process to find new techniques, procedures and/or technologies that leads us to provide with solutions to bring more attendees and exhibitors into a show.Some of the technologies we have invested on to provide solutions are: Web 2.0, Virtual Communities, Bi-dimensional barcode, Data Mining and Artificial Intelligence among others.Currently we have developed procedures to profile buyers, conferees and attendees to build a successful Internet Marketing strategy. I positively think that the key is information: significant, on-time delivered and complete as possible information to make decision makers supported.
