Throughout my career I have focused my efforts in closing the gap between scientific knowledge and real world applications. More often the solutions to our current social and engineering challenges lie in the common ground where fundamental and applied research merge. I believe that, exposure and experience in both ends of the spectrum are essential to bridge practical applications and fundamental sciences for the conservation and remediation of the environment. To obtain this understanding I have worked in the research and development of environmental remediation technologies, materials for environmental sensors, catalytic systems for decomposition of contaminants, and development of nanomaterials for remediation of aquifers. I am continuously looking for new opportunities and challenges to demonstrate how innovative research and engineering can provide solutions to our contemporary environmental challenges.
Listed skills include Groundwater Remediation, Hazardous Waste Management, Groundwater Contamination, Environmental Engineering, and 9 others.
