Consultant at the WHO Barcelona Office for Health Systems Financing (WHO Europe) Responsibilities: • Analyzing the performance of European health systems against the universal health coverage and financial protection in the health of its population • Quantitative analysis of population surveys using advanced statistical methods and statistical software (STATA) • Generating financial protection reports for the Ministries of Health and the specialized public in the European region • Reviewing and synthesizing the literature in the field of health systems, health financing and health equity

Bive is a social business that facilitates access to healthcare services to low income families in Colombia. I have been responsible for leading a team of 13 people, corporate relationships and direction of health projects. • In 4 years, Bive has reached 18.000 users, attended through partnerships with 100 healthcare providers in over 70 types of health services in three cities in the state of Caldas, Colombia. • I have been responsible for building and coordinating the Board of Advisors with senior professionals from the areas of financial management, marketing, strategic planning and social business expertise.• Bive has partnered with the Corporate Social Responsability branch of Ecopetrol (biggest public company of Colombia), LGT Venture Philanthropy (Switzerland) and Yunus Social Business (Germany) receiving investments of more than 125.000 USD.• Bive has leveraged 450.000 USD in grants with international organizations to execute social health projects. Healthy Smiles, 2016 (1.250 beneficiaries, low-income children between 5-10 years old); Coffee smiles, 2017 (320 beneficiaries, coffee growers) and Coffee Vision, 2017 (1.000 beneficiaries, older adults coffee growers).

Worked with the Department of Health Policy. Conducted health systems research on access to healthcare in Latin America, universal health coverage, health financing, and financial protection. I managed the research process including protocol preparation, data management, data analysis using quantitative techniques, manuscript preparation and submission.
