Administrative Director
Current*Manage all administrative functions of a State funded, indigent legal services agency including:-Budget: Manage all expenditures, both case related and operational costs. Budget Forecasting using and compiling multiple reports (appropriations, rate and FTE reports) along with daily tracking of the state’s accounting system. Prepared all legislative budget requests through detailed analysis of previous years history of both agency expenditures and case costs analysis along with assessment of agency needs (such as the creation of a social services unit which is expected to be fully funded in the next fiscal year).-Operations: Management of all operational contracts including building leases & utilities, office equipment, and software licenses.-Human Resources: Oversaw EEOC & Title 9 Claims of Unlawful Terminations, work performance assessment, staffing, and advising the agency head on all staffing needs.*Acquired extensive understanding of the constraints of working with a limited budget and reconciling that with the mission of the agency is a critical balance. Successfully providing access to every client’s due process needs including travel expenditures, capital cases costs, forensic expert services, mitigation services, as well as assessing operational needs with investments in technology to provide the tools necessary for lawyers to do their best work on behalf of the office’s clients. *Maintain relationships with other Statewide agency administrators, agency heads, legislative budget staff, compliance officers to ensure effective agency operations and communication.
