George Jimenez Email and Phone Number
As long as I can remember, I always wanted to help people. While serving in the military, I was directly involved in medical evacuations, coordinating for patient needs, and assisting medical personnel. This inspired me to pursue an education in biology to eventually become a healthcare professional.I'm a senior at the University of Rochester, seeking opportunities in research. Studying biology has always been a passion of mine and in combination with my military experience, I want to be at the forefront of healthcare through research. As an undergraduate researcher working at Harvard, I examined the role of mechanical forces on neurophysiology such as in traumatic brain injuries. I was fascinated by how forces in our environment affect the structure of the brain and translate into changes in function. As I begin my professional career in biology, I want to carry the discipline, drive, and excellence my military has brought me into the field of research.
