-Created and managed Individual Educational Plans (IEPs) to define student learning objectives and educational strategies, in addition to applying instructional knowledge and methods to support goals.-Provided process support to the Reading and Positive Behaviour programs with the Special education team to coordinate and monitor the academic Inclusion process to 24 students with varied Disabilities and multiple degrees of special needs into the regular classroom.-Collaborated to support logistics between special education students, classroom teachers and teacher assistant’s schedules with master schedule, meetings, opening and closure ceremonies and other special events coordination, etc.-Led and assisted meetings by drafting meeting minutes, briefing notes, being the interpreter by phone or in-person for parents, teachers, school board members and other school specialists.

-Developed and implemented learning experiences for kids 3 to 5 years old focused on physical, conduct and emotional development.- Cultivated connections and strong student rapport to foster classroom engagement, in addition to working closely with the families and School Manager to plan, coordinate and support the educational process.

- Taught, assessed and measured effectiveness of academic teaching strategies and success by defining learning metrics, tracking systems, providing personal instruction to the students, support to their teachers and progress reporting to inform about performance to parents and school administration from two schools.- Worked in multi-age and multi-cultural classroom as more than 40% of the population of the school’s students were Guatemala’s refugee indigenous language native speakers.-Responsible for the implementation of the new pilot educational program “Modelo ABCD”, where we empowered our students to manage their own learning by using a self-education learning approach.

-Taught the Civics and Ethics program which includes the understanding and promotion the rule of law to create a more peaceful and democratic society.-Coordinated the School garden project guiding the students on how to plan, plant, grow and maintain their own garden in which they harvested crops that were used by the school kitchen.-Assessed and looked after 50+ students’ progress throughout the term and worked closely with other staff to efficiently plan and implement the full-day programs (such as afterschool clubs, reading intervention program and in-school dinner).
