Responsible for raising capital, administering the funds, and managing strategic suppliers of the Summit. • Led the fundraising process for the Foundation gathering $US 5.6 million from 25 Sponsors, including local and international companies. The summit is a public-private event gathering near 1.000 participants, including the presidents and CEOs of 21 countries member of APEC. • Negotiated with suppliers after the event had to be canceled gathering US$ 1.5 million to restore the Sponsor’s commitments. • Negotiated with hotels accommodations for the Summit’s attendants, and took charge of the process of registering enrolled members to ensure the attendance of our target group.

Responsible for leading processes improvement for the Finance and Administration department and manage the Treasurer’s Office. • Led upgrade of finance and accounting tools, evaluating ERP & Partners’ alternatives, and implemented Oracle Cloud. • Managed the Company’s treasury increasing profits 35% vs the previous year, representing 10% of the Company’s yearly profits.• Led the implementation of QlikView (BI), enabling the Finance Manager and other areas to have valuable just-in-time information.• Analyzed and improved the collection process of hotel commissions. Negotiated with collectors reducing the fee from 9% to 3%, added a new collector, improving returns by US$75,000/year and commissions’ collection from 60% to 80%.

Valuated companies for acquisitions, performed industry analyses, and cost-reducing initiatives, answering to the General Manager. • Led the refurbishment of the office; responsible for analyzing, restructuring, designing, negotiating, and coordinating all the tasks, activities, and personnel, achieving savings of $350 million pesos per year by subleasing offices.• Successfully managed the sale of assets of companies acquired, obtaining profits in 4 months. • Evaluated the feasibility of a cement mixer consortium in Punta Arenas, Chile, resulting in a successful acquisition.

Responsible for implementing credit and cost controls, managing accounts receivables, and reporting.• Improved management of accounts receivables, achieving a reduction of 32 to 28 days of accounts receivables outstanding, improving accounts current from 70% to 80%, and achieving a risk coverage of 95%.• Successfully implemented credit controls in SAP’s sales module thus reducing sales risk at a minimum.• Designed and implemented new reporting for joint venture financial statements, reducing issuing time from 2 weeks to 2 days, thus facilitating data revision by General Manager and Board.
