Highly successful bilingual (English and Spanish) energy executive with demonstrated success in business development in Mexico, Latin America and U.S. markets. My accomplishments are the result of many factors, key among them are: (i) in depth knowledge of mergers & acquisitions and project finance and markets regulatory framework, (iii) strong engineering and business background, (iv) broad energy professional experience ranging from business development to asset management, and (v) a vast network of contacts in these markets. Throughout my career, I have thrived in taking on new responsibilities and devising and implementing business development strategies in new and existing markets. These efforts often require learning new market laws, rules and regulations. A good example is Mexico, where I recently spent significant time learning a new deregulated power market to then devise and implement a strategy to start trading electricity and gradually build a book of business to ultimately install generation facilities in that country.My commitment to continuous self and professional development has also played a key role in my success.
