• Implemented new growth strategy in the COVID 19 context, focused on resilient clients with performance below estimated targets.• Two year’s Innovation award from the Credit Bureau for Scotiabank due to the analytic strategies implemented using new tools for the benefit of the clients. • Designed and implemented new automated credit policies for Auto and Mortgage portfolios that contributed to grow at higher rates than the market: 6.6 y 2.6 times respectively becoming 8th and 6th market players respectively.• Implemented IFRS model (intermediate) in Panamá, with the support of Toronto provision’s team, being the first international Scotiabank country to report under IFRS methodology to local regulator. • Led the design of new credit policies for Cards portfolio for Costa Rica and Panamá, working with FICO and Toronto Risk Team, using best practices among Citi, Scotiabank and FICO, contributing to achieve record levels of new cards booked (30% increase of monthly bookings).

• Achieved the lowest delinquency levels in Cards portfolio during 2015 through collections campaigns that mitigated seasonality, incentives to external agencies and loss mitigation tools directed to specific segments.• Achieved the lowest fraud losses in credit cards, after implementing chip feature and with supportive strategies such as cards replacement when points of compromise where identified, having the most robust process of the market.• Improved profitability of cards portfolio by eliminating high-risk segments and making changes in credit policy to open lower risk segments.

Panama

• Designed and implemented Panama’s collection strategy that resulted in recoveries increase of 15% of written off portfolio during 2014 compared to previous year. • Designed and implemented Costa Rica’ s collection strategy that reduced cards 30+ indicators vs. 2013 using strategies such as dual work, no contact special treatment, lists unification, bad bank segmentation. • Lead the implementation of the sale of written off portfolio in Panama in 2013.

Colombia

• Developed policies for a new client segment: Advance. During 2011, this segment had the highest growth rate, reaching by the end of the year 38% of the total bank portfolio. • Implemented high impact measures to control the risk associated with self-employees (product and client limits as well as score cut-off), changing radically the strategy of the bank: self-employees became 35% of the bookings from 65% that represented before policy changes. • Managed the implementation of the HSBC credit system (AAPS4 & SMG3). This implementation included the x-sell strategy of the bank and the automation of several manual processes.

Colombia

• Minimized the impact on Colombian exports caused by the closure of the Venezuelan market (the second most important for Colombia in 2005) through a plan developed in conjunction with exporters to exploit Free Trade agreements with Central America, Peru, and Brazil. • Communicate at National level the new opportunities of the Free Trade Agreements signed with USA, Chile and Europe covering more than 1.000 Colombian companies, reaching record export levels (2006 – 2010 ).• Consolidated the operation of 22 Export Centers (ZEIKY) at national level, achieving record of coverage of Colombian companies in terms of training to initiate exports. • Implemented the first Tourism Information Centers in Colombia, in association with Chambers of Commerce. Supported the strategy of ”Colombia, the only risk is wanting to stay…” , that reached a record level of tourists in Colombia (more than 2.5 mm).
