Served as a consultant Systems Engineer and TCS Manager for Target's Enterprise Data, Analytics and Business Intelligence team. Our team's main focus was ensuring critical Business Intelligence applications were performing as expected in terms of data timeliness, data quality, reports availability and overall application stability.As manager I supported 5 on-site engineers working across Human Resources, Finance and Stores BI applications portfolios in ensuring their goals and objectives were clearly defined, achievable and in line with their professional goals. I supported our team throughout a transformation to a DevOps/Agile operating model. I also prepared application performance reports and continuous improvement plans for our global leadership team and business clients.As systems engineer I focused on application and infrastructure stability through Incident, Change and Problem Management. I focused on high priority data and report availability incidents which typically required leading discussions with infrastructure, external vendor and business teams. I also provided technical guidance and risk assessments for new applications, changes to existing applications and infrastructure upgrades to ensure smooth roll-outs and continuity of business services. In addition I led root cause analysis (RCA) efforts, problem prioritization and resolution to ensure application and infrastructure stability.I worked within the Stores and Finance BI portfolios and served as application owner for critical reports including Sales and Payroll, Profit and Loss(P&L) and Cost Center Owner (CCO) reports.
