In charge of Health & Safety and Environment, monitors compliance of the operations with local regulations and internal procedures. Manages Union negotiations with USWA; 5 Collective agreements negotiated in last 10 years. Administrate Steel supply for the Ontario facility and developed a new contract for 10 years (1,100,000 tons) with QIT (Quebec Iron and Titanium)

In charge of the operations of Tenaris in Canada, industrial facility in SSM Ontario and Sales office in Calgary Alberta.Developed a SAGD contract with complete supply of pipes, injectors, producers and connections for Suncor and Nexen in 2004 taking the leadership in the Oils Sands business (85% market share) Developed together with Shell the first Sour Service grade (TN80 SS) that complied with Alberta recommended practices for Sour gas wells in Alberta Develop local supplier of steel, QIT (Quebec Iron and Titanium), for the facility in SSM from 2001 to 2004Executed the purchase of the Algoma Tubular facility in SSM (2004) from Algoma Steel; including the negotiation of port facilities and all services contracts. Leaded the growth of Algoma tubular in SSM from 31,000 tons/year and 170 employees in 2001 to 195,000 tons/year and 500 employees in 2006.In charge of the start up of idle Algoma tubes mill in 2001, hired all personnel (hourly and staff) to resume operations after two years of being closed by Algoma Steel (125 unionize plus 45 staff), putting to work all necessary service contracts to run the facility. Designed and negotiate initial Collective Agreement with the USWA with emphasis in flexibility and multiple task allocation.
