Established the QA test program within InfoVista. In the beginning the tasks consisted mainly of test design and test execution, but as the team was growing, the tasks involved more responsibility:• Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the design, maintenance, automation and execution of the tests of the whole InfoVista product line (12 different products, various types of applications: Web applications, client/server, network monitoring,..). Responsible for the quality of the testing efforts. • Assessment of high risk areas for focusing the testing effort. • Management of the beta programs.• Responsible for the definition of the QA processes and the QA deliverables as they are used in our Product Life Cycle process: plannings, reporting, test plans etc. • Worked with various department heads to implement CMM from level 0 to 2+ over a 1 year period. • Management of a team of 15 (French, English, German, both junior and senior), also distributed management (France and Germany).
