Obtains and records patient vital signs and machine readings according to facility policies.Sets up and tears down the dialysis blood system for the treatment process.Inserts and removes access needles in patients for dialysis treatment.Monitors and assesses patients during the course of treatment, documents changes in the patient condition, and informs charge nurse of problems during treatment.Calculates patient’s weight loss to reach dry weight.Maintains and tracks inventory.Performs laboratory work.Determines patient care priorities and organizes work load efficiently and effectively.Maintains professional working relationship, observing patient privacy and rights.

- Care for and facilitate treatment of patients in step down cardiac unit- Provide for patients needs such as vital signs, comfort care, and daily assists the RN in performing clinical procedures, such as physical exams, EKG, post-mortem care, and maintenance of skin integrity.

- Receive patients and assign medical records- Facilitate high volume communications between physicians and supporting staff (RN's, Hospitalist, Pharmacy, X-ray, CT,US, and Nurse Tech)- Responsible for admitting patients into Hospital for acute and long term care.

• Responsible for patient care from hospital to destination. Duties include: taking vital signs and building a great rapport with patients, quickly and sincerely to ensure they are comfortable• Duties also include analyzing and recording medical history for Westchester EMS records• Responsible for patient’s safe transport from hospital to other hospital or rehab canter

• Primary responsibility is helping patients become integrated in the community• Duties include assistance during meals, with hygiene (bathing, bathroom assistance), computer knowledge, and socialization with peers• Responsible for writing daily progress reports that encompass accomplishments, as well as behavioral issues.

• Register new and existing patients • Act as a mediator between patients and pharmacies to doctors • Generate referrals and create new appointments insuring continued patient business • Responsible for collecting co-payments and keeping insurance records up-to-date

• Opened, sorted and routed incoming mail; prepared outgoing mail • Maintained orderliness of employee lounge, insuring it was kept well-stocked • Responsible for managing inventory of office supplies
