Currently, I serve as Vice-academic Coordinator of the Diploma in International Trade Negotiations since May 2017. This Program of El Colegio de México, with the support of the Ministry of Economy, is designed for young professionals interested in developing a career in government, private companies, international organizations, custom brokers, and industrial and commercial chambers. The aim is for students to gain a thorough understanding of the functioning of the international economy and the governance of world trade in goods and services and their relationship to intellectual property, digital economy, environment, investment, competition, and the relationship between trade and economic development. It also provides a detailed view of the specific commitments related to both disciplines and trade liberalization undertaken in the different multilateral, regional and bilateral agreements of which Mexico is a member.Also, I served as Vice Academic Coordinator of Regional Trade Policy Course (RTPC) from the WTO for Latin American countries at El Colegio de México from 2019 to 2023. This course aims to train government officials from Latin America in the WTO's multilateral trade agreements and other regional aspects related to trade.
